On the left side you see some nice pictures of my NSUÂ Prima III k from the year 1959 during time of rebuilding the scooter. With limited time and from time to time also limited interest in repairing and maintenance, the whole restauration took a very long time to complete. In the early years '90 I was buying and selling imported motorcycles just for hobby and fun. One day I bought a Yamaha Fazer, those times not officially imported in the Netherlands, and the scooter stood besides the Yamaha. I liked the looks and carefully analyst the almost complete NSU. Although the engine was not running, there were no official license papers and the scooter needed some new paint, I bought this piece of history. After doing a lot of other different things in live, I started the project for restauration in 2005. The main problem at the start was the total scooter was taken apart already, but ten years ago. So a lot of work had to ben done to figure out which parts had what function. Of course the repair maintenance did help a lot, but also the pictures on the site of parts supplier NSU-Motzke did help a lot. After finding the original colour of the scooter I totally sanded every part and put it in the right colour. If you have questions about the rebuilding or other nice things, write me an e-mail.
